Role: Category Manager Non-Production Material (all genders) Full-time | Location: Herzogenrath, Germany | Hybrid | Experienced Your Responsibilities

Define and develop the category strategy in collaboration with your supervisor, implement it with the relevant departments, and seek ways to improve cost efficiency and supplier collaboration. Initiate global category and procurement market analyses, manage the process of selecting new suppliers in coordination with departments (from tender to award). Lead price and contract negotiations with international suppliers and service providers, aiming to reduce product costs, increase product quality, and ensure timely deliveries. Improve cost transparency by initiating cost and value analysis projects with suppliers, optimizing the existing supplier base through supplier evaluations, and conducting supplier audits. Support material disposition in case of supply shortages and manage master data. Your Qualifications

Completion of training as a specialist in purchasing and logistics or similar. Several years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in services. Analytical and conceptual skills for strategic approach to complex tasks. Strong negotiation skills in national and international contexts. Assertiveness coupled with good communication and teamwork skills. Fluent in German and English for effective communication in multicultural teams. Proficient in SAP and MS-Office for efficient work.
