Optical and optoelectronic products are our passion. Numerous renowned research and development organisations and industrial customers appreciate this and use our products in their laboratories worldwide. At our Bergkirchen site near Munich, we develop and manufacture components, modules and devices for generating, transporting and measuring light. Our technical sales department guarantees competent advice and support for our customers. The warehouse at our site is responsible for the dispatch of all Thorlabs products within Europe. p> Corporate / Legal Counsel / Syndikusrechtsanwalt / Jurist Europe (m/w/x) Ihre Aufgaben

  • Provide advice to the European Leadership Team in all legal matters with a focus on contract law and corporate law
  • Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts such as, master service agreements, cooperation agreements, license agreements, supplier and subcontractor agreements, confidentiality agreements, various terms & conditions and other transactional documents
  • Analyze and summarize legal documents and complex business transactions and contracts
  • Legal support for the establishment of new foreign subsidiaries/branch offices;
  • Identify areas of weakness, recommending scope for improvement and implementing appropriate changes
  • Support General Counsel and outside counsel in managing litigations, third party subpoenas and regulatory investigations, and negotiating and responding to third party subpoenas
  • Support Human Resources department in drafting, updating and negotiating employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and managing compliance with applicable discrimination and harassment laws and regulations
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance matters and assist in ensuring the company conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Assumption of all legal steps in cooperation with notaries/lawyers for all European entities (registrations/publications in the commercial register, purchase/sale of real estate/company shares, etc.)
