Finance Manager

Our client is a fast-growing energy services provider at the forefront of Germanys decarbonisation journey. Following its acquisition by a leading global private equity fund, the company is entering a new phase of transformation and growth. This is a handson, buildandtransform mandate for a CFO ready to professionalise and scale the finance organisation in a highgrowth, PEbacked environment. Youll take full ownership of finance operations, shaping a lean setup into a datadriven, investorgrade platform that enables rapid decisionmaking, operational excellence, and value creation. Stabilise and professionalise core accounting, reporting, and cash processes in partnership with external advisors. Deliver speed, control, and accuracy in monthly closings, compliance (HGB/IFRS), and management reporting. Build and lead a capable finance team and embed KPIdriven performance management. Digitise and automate processes across billing, controlling, and forecasting to create transparency and scalability. Drive integration and transformation through postmerger activities, treasury setup, and system improvements. Within 12 months, finance will operate as a reliable, fast, and insightdriven function delivering clean audits, timely reporting, and clear cash visibility. Within 18 months, youll have built a scalable finance infrastructure underpinning growth and future transactions, positioning the business for its next phase of expansion and exit readiness. Proven track record building or transforming finance functions in PEbacked or M&Adriven environments. Highly handson and executionfocused, yet capable of shaping finance as a strategic partner.
