At our site in Böblingen you will find both asYour ResponsibilitiesWorks in the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering team which drives Advantest towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environmentBrings new mechanical infrastructure products of the V93000 IC tester into production on timeAssures manufacturing, quality and reliability of technically challenging mechanical products throughout the outsourced supply chainDevelops, maintains and shares expertise of mechanical product design of the V93000 within Advantest including advice to peers and managementSelects supplier and runs supplier qualification through potential analysis and process audits to constantly fulfill customer and business requirementsImplementation of preventive quality and approval measures at external suppliersCollaborates closely and x-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain and Product marketing and global support teams in a very international environmentAspects to further consider are manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives to drive quality, cost, and supply metrics towards defined goalsYour QualificationsBachelor/Masters’ degree in mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalentBroad knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and high knowledge of mechanical high level assembliesKnowledge of mechanical product development with CAD tool supportProactive, flexible and innovative mindset with analytical problem solving skills, demonstrating strong ownershipBackground as Supplier Quality Manager/Supplier AuditorProject management skills in daily life highly wishedGood Communication skills and team player in cross-functional and cross-company environment both in English and GermanWillingness to travel
