Klinikverbund Südwest is one of the largest and most efficient municipal hospital associations in Baden-Württemberg and has more than 1,500 beds. Our approximately 6,000 employees treat almost 75,000 inpatients and over 300,000 outpatients at six locations every year. We are currently planning forward-looking new hospital buildings and modernizations, including pioneering intersectoral campus structures, with investments of around 800 million euros in the districts of Böblingen and Calw and are implementing our network-wide medical concept.

For Department F Medical Information Technology, we are looking for a full-time Head of IT Infrastructure (m/f/d) for all locations from 01.03.2025 - reference number: KVSW 6588.

Your tasks

• Operational management of the team of system and network administrators
• Technical contact person for the team
• Collaboration in the planning, introduction and support of network components (switches / routers / firewalls) and the server and storage systems in a complex system landscape across several locations
• Prioritization and processing of all tasks in second and third level support
• Monitoring and analysis of performance, stability, capacity and availability and optimization of systems
• Participation in the on-call duty of the IT department

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in computer science or successfully completed IT-related training
• Several years of management and professional experience in the desired field of activity
• Relevant specialist knowledge in the field of network administration (LAN / WLAN)
• Sound knowledge in the support of SAN storage systems and virtualization
• Knowledge of the norms and standards of the IT Security Act and KRITIS regulations desirable
• Committed, structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Team player, strong communicator and solution-oriented
• Proof of vaccination or immunity in accordance with the Infection Protection Act (e.g. measles)

• If all personal and collective agreement requirements are met, you will be placed in pay group EG 13 TVöD-K (gross annual salary full-time approx. between 58,000 and 83,000 euros).
