You will interact with Directors, Vice Presidents, and Product Management as equalsYour task will be to assess technical challenges against market requirements, evaluate feasibility, and derive projects accordinglyYou will lead a team of project managers with direct line reporting into the program to achieve program objectivesThe Opto Materials Program will encompass Lasers, Micro LED, Telecommunication, and Solar ApplicationsYou will channel input from industry partners and universities into AIXTRON, using it for improvement, identifying synergies within AIXTRON, and leveraging themYour key competenciesYou have a completed degree at least a BS in an Engineering, Physics or Materials Science related field – Ideally having a MS or PhDYou bring 10 years of professional experience in the field of Opto Materials or TechnologiesIdeally, you have experience in project management and/or program managementYou are a team player and a role model for your colleagues as well as having experience in leadership rolesPersonally, you stand out with excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as analytical and structured thinkingIdeally you are fluent in English and GermanWhat you can expect from usFlexible working hours: At AIXTRON, you can take a flexible approach to organizing your working day (without fixed core hours), work on the move, and switch between company office and mobile officeVacation: You are entitled to 30 vacation days per year by default.
