Senior Accountant

MSc in Accounting/Finance or similar experience (e.g. Bilanzbuchalter). At least 3 to 5 years of experience in External Audit (preferably with a focus on manufacturing companies) or within an accounting department in a structured organization. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (HGB/IFRS), with good knowledge of indirect and direct Tax German procedures. Proficient in Excel and experienced with accounting and financial systems (e.g. Infor, Addison, Microsoft Dynamics). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in German (C1 Level) and possess a very good command of English (B2+ Level). Availability to visit secondary locations in Frechen or Overath when needed. Ability to work 2 days per week remotely. Manage the general ledger including Account Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank transactions, Payroll Posting, Travel expense report, and Intercompany transactions. Issue invoices and Credit Notes to customers. Monitor, reconcile, and analyze accounting records. Prepare Intrastat, ZM, and support VAT declaration. Monitor liquidity. Ensure compliance with German regulations. Support month-end and year-end activities. Continuously improve accounting processes and align with Group policies and guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and analyze data for internal and external reporting needs.
