Accounting Manager (Ref: KM46879)A global Japanese trading company is seeking an experienced and proactive Accounting Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting and finance, including monthly closing, tax filings, budgeting, cash flow management, and team leadership. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and efficient operational processes.TYPE: Permanent, full-time with 6 months probationary periodWORKING HOURS: 9:00-18:00, Monday to FridaySALARY: €5,000–€6,000/month DOESTART: January 2026 (Negotiable)LOCATION: FrankfurtRESPONSIBILITIES:• Oversee daily accounting operations, monthly closing, and tax filings (sales tax, corporate tax, etc.)• Analyse P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, providing timely reports and advice to management• Formulate and monitor budgets, manage cash flow, and propose necessary adjustments• Implement and manage ERP systems, improve internal controls, and optimise accounting processes• Lead, train, and evaluate the accounting team, ensuring effective delegation and skill development• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and other relevant regulationsIDEAL CANDIDATE:• At least 5–10 years’ experience in accounting/finance management, preferably in a multinational environment• Fluent in German and business-level proficiency in English• Strong leadership and team management skills• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Datev) and financial reporting under German GAAP and IFRS• Ability to collaborate with senior management and provide proactive recommendations** All applicants must have the right to work in the country without any restrictions as the Company is not able to offer visa support.*When contacting us, please include the job reference number (Ref: KM46879) at the top of your message.If your application is successful, you will be contacted within two business days.
