Your tasks As Global Commercial Project & Risk Manager for the project execution phase, you will lead and develop the global Commercial Project Management (CPM) organization across all business units of Voith Hydro. Develop and implement the global CPM strategy in line with corporate goals and customer expectations. Standardize and continuously improve CPM processes, tools, and KPIs in all operating units. Provide professional leadership to the business units’ CPMs in the global matrix organization and promote best practices and knowledge sharing. Support and escalation management for critical or endangered projects Build and implement a global training and certification program for CPM Implement and ensure active global risk management in project execution Monitor global project portfolio performance together with the Global Head of Project and regularly report to the Board of Management Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, transparency, and customer orientation. Your profile Degree in law, economics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study. Knowledge in contract and commercial management, ideally in the context of EPC/EPCM projects, as well as experience with common standards and regulations (FIDIC, NEC, etc.). Solid professional experience in commercial project execution or bid processing, plus 10 years of experience in international plant or construction projects. Basic knowledge in finance and accounting, controlling, taxes, and insurance. Experience with project management tools, planning tools (e.g., Primavera), and SAP is an advantage. Fluent English skills; German and other languages are a plus. Leadership skills in a line or matrix organization. Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%). A pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, strong personal work organization, initiative, and collaborative spirit.
