We can’t wait to meet you It’s on us, to make new energy work.Key Responsibilities:Manage and take ownership of processes which create critical data for our business, working closely together with our colleagues in ITDefine and implement data validation rules, monitoring metrics, and quality checks for the processes in our responsibilityMaintain and expand the curated data layer in close collaboration with IT, ensuring consistent and accurate representation of core data entities (e.g., trades, prices, positions)Collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders across teams and regions to define and evolve data modelsWork closely with the business teams owning critical reporting (e.g. departments such as Market Risk, Credit Risk, Accounting, Back Office)Maintain the quality and consistency of key business data across systems and departmentsPerform root cause analysis of data issues and drive corrective actions across upstream systemsTake Product Ownership of Data Products and contribute to data governance initiatives and documentation standardsCoordinate change delivery with the business departments and be responsible for successful implementation of requirements and managing projects impacting the products and processes we ownSupport end users analyzing und understanding dataQualifications:A university degree and at least 3 years of professional experience in the energy or commodity trading businessSolid energy trading, risk management and commodity trade life cycle knowledge is a plus, at a minimum we require a demonstrated interest in these topicsStrong understanding of data pipelines, data validation, and data quality frameworksProficiency with SQL and experience working with relational databasesExperience with Python is a plusEssential is a proactive delivery attitude; you need to take charge and drive topics forward independentlyAbility to self-initiate changes and to translate business requests into actionable plans is neededSolid IT user knowledge in this field is required.
