Aufgaben
In this role you are responsible to manage assigned Material Groups. This includes plan and execute supply projects from analytics to tendering, contract negotiation and implementation on global level and large spend. You manage suppliers' performances and internal compliance to processes and policies. You are a core team member of our development project. You show your purchase talent in understanding cost structures and how to influence them – from leveraging technical cost reduction to plan and execute advanced negotiation strategies.
Profil
You are someone who wants to influence your own development. You're looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies, where a job title is not considered a final destination but the starting point.
What you need is:
- Bachelor´s or Master's degree in engineering, logistic or management.
- Proven experience in procurement, cost engineering, manufacturing or a similar position in a multinational company.
- Negotiation skills, methods and approaches to drive productivity and other related topics.
- Knowledge of chemical and/or metallic commodities.
- Experience in cross functional teamwork (R&D, Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing) and proven track record of leading project initiatives.
- You are fluent in English (verbally and written) with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of German is a plus.
