Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Aachen is looking for a Purchasing Analyst Direct Raw Material (f/m/d) to create & manage POs for direct raw materials. The role would require an understanding of PO process, creation, approvals and follow up. The associate would be in charge of maintaining the POs and ensuring we meet our inventory and service level target working with all the different department and stakeholder involved such as strategic procurement, suppliers, production etc..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order creation and approval.

  • Vendor Follow ups regarding shipments, ensuring on-time delivery for POs.

  • Manage the inventory level and ensure we execute the PO process to optimize inventory strategy.

  • Ensure the availability of the raw material at any time for production used.

  • Investigate the reason for the overstock/stock out and proposed short term and long term correction actions.

  • Partnering with our global procurement team to work on inventory reduction opportunities and supply chain improvement.

  • Support in DBS continuous improvement as per role demand.

  • On time KPI updating for bowlers.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree  in with 2+ years of experience in procurement preferably in manufacturing industry.

  • Experience working with ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.

  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written German and English.
