Celonis is a platform for industrializing Enterprise AI through process data and intelligent digital twins. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be the technical bridge between Celonis and enterprise customers, ensuring data integration, security, and AI connectivity from day one. This role combines implementation consulting, integration engineering, and trusted technical advisory for customers adopting the Celonis platform.

What You'll Do

  • Deploy and configure Celonis extractors for enterprise systems including SAP (ECC, S/4HANA), JDBC databases, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and other cloud applications
  • Design and build custom API connectors using Celonis Extractor Builder for REST/SOAP-based systems, handling OAuth 2.0, API keys, certificates, pagination, rate limiting, and incremental loads
  • Develop push-based data ingestion pipelines in Python using the Data Ingestion API, advising on file formats, scheduling, and error handling
  • Configure identity and access management including SSO (SAML, OIDC) with providers like Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Ping, and SCIM-based user provisioning
  • Set up zero-copy data sharing between Celonis and customer lakehouses (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) and connect Celonis to LLMs via Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues including on-premise agent deployments, networking, proxies, firewalls, certificates, and service-account permissions
  • Configure Action Flows and integration patterns for writebacks that turn Celonis insights into actions in downstream systems
  • Lead technical discovery, document integration architectures, and estimate project effort; serve as technical point of contact across customer IT, data, and security teams

What You Need

  • 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as solutions engineering, integration consulting, data engineering, or technical consulting
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and common authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, API keys, tokens); proficiency with tools like Postman
  • Solid programming skills in Python or similar language, with strong SQL expertise
  • Working knowledge of data pipelines and ETL/ELT concepts including incremental loads, scheduling, and handling large data volumes
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts (SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM provisioning)
  • Basic understanding of networking and security fundamentals (TLS, certificates, proxies, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly to both engineers and business stakeholders and manage multiple customer workstreams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP data structures, tables, or extraction methods (RFC, ODP, S/4HANA)
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or lakehouse platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake
  • Exposure to iPaaS or low-code integration tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Power Automate)
  • Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, or Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Experience with Docker or Linux server administration
  • Relevant certifications in Celonis, cloud platforms, or SAP
  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) with merit-based refresh grants
  • 24 weeks fully paid parental leave for primary carers, 12 weeks for supporting carers
  • unlimited PTO in applicable regions
  • subsidized Wellhub memberships and mental health counseling
  • flexible hybrid work model
  • annual Impact Days with paid volunteer time
