The Role
We are looking for a Project Manager / Civil Engineer to take ownership of the structural and construction side of BESS projects – from identifying suitable sites and securing approvals through to construction and delivery.
You will work across engineering, permitting, construction, and project management, while coordinating external partners and authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate potential BESS sites for technical feasibility, land availability, and building regulations.
Develop layouts, site plans, and technical decision-making criteria.
Prepare and submit building applications and coordinate with building authorities.
Manage construction implementation, contractors, and external partners.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Build and manage a network of civil engineering and construction partners.
Support the assessment of new customer and project opportunities.
Your Profile
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or similar qualification.
2+ years’ relevant experience, ideally within renewable energy or energy infrastructure.
Experience with building applications and permitting is highly beneficial.
Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and site plans.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership.
Very good German, particularly for working with authorities.
