Do you have several years of professional experience in financial controlling in an international corporate environment and are you ready to take on more responsibility and implement your own ideas? We are looking for a Financial Controller (gn) Germany for our client from Mainz - one of the world's largest purchasing cooperations - to start as soon as possible. You can expect a fast-growing environment with structures to be designed and the clear perspective to further develop and expand the Finance team.

Aufgaben
  • Solid line to Country GM and dotted line to CFO Europe
  • Overall finance responsibility for the Germany region
  • Business partner for senior management to drive performance and decision making
  • Responsibility for the month-end closing process, general ledger, receivables management and accounts receivable
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports (P&L/balance sheet)
  • Implementation and further development of the internal control system (ICS)
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts and carrying out variance analyses
  • Analysis of income, expenses and balance sheet accounts (balance sheet reconciliation)
  • Liquidity planning and cash flow forecast
  • Close cooperation with the local finance teams and the SSC
  • Ensuring the proper execution of the SSC's tasks
  • Coordination of external audits and contact person for auditors and tax consultants
  • Main contact person for M&A activities
  • Definition and implementation of KPIs and development of tools and processes
  • Screening challenges, proactively finding solutions and deriving recommendations for action
Qualifikation
  • Degree in economics with a focus on accounting and/or controlling or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in financial controlling, preferably in an international group environment with matrix structures
  • Practical knowledge of HGB and IFRS
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI/CO/BW and MS Excel, knowledge of Oracle (Group Reporting) advantageous
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • Effective and proactive communication as well as detail orientation
  • High resilience and coordination skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and sense of responsibility
