SimplyTest GmbH is a Nuremberg-based IT company with a focus on agile and development-centric quality assurance of software. The main focus of our work is:

  • Hands-on support of our customers in the realization of high-quality software products
  • Organization and execution of practice-oriented trainings and further upskillings in the field of software development and quality assurance
  • Development of innovative tools and test automation solutions
  • Sharing our knowledge and solutions with the (open source) community in the QA area
Tasks

The main focus of our work is:

As a Test Automation Engineer you can find the following tasks:

  • You will work in agile teams on challenging projects and help deliver high-quality products
  • You apply modern agile approaches and methodologies, contribute to the projects and work in a structured and independent manner
  • You implement and expand test automation frameworks
  • You develop and expand automated tests at all test levels, which enable a quick check of the quality of the software
  • You help build CI and CD pipelines to enable end-to-end automated quality assurance during the build and delivery processes
  • You carry out exploratory tests and try to find functional and technical weaknesses in systems and solutions
  • You evaluate the results and create error reports
Requirements

Required skills/experience:

  • Enthusiasm for working in the QA area
  • Experience with test automation of front-end or back-end applications
  • Hands-on mentality
  • The desire to get involved, actively shape the company and projects and share your knowledge with the community
  • The will to keep learning new things, to constantly educate yourself and to always work on the latest technologies and developments in the QA area
  • The urge to think outside the box of QA and build skills in development and DevOps areas

English C1 or German C1
