Position: Junior Marketing Specialist
Place in the organization:
The Junior Marketing Specialist is part of the DACH Marketing team and reports to the Regional Marketing Manager and works closely with the eCommerce team.
Responsibilities:
As a Junior Marketing Specialist, you are an important link between the commercial organization in DACH and the various eCommerce partners. In this role, you will ensure that our brand and products are presented correctly on all digital platforms and that our digital advertising campaigns are optimized to increase awareness and conversion.
As Digital Commerce is an important sales channel, your efforts are crucial to the growth of our business and its potential.
Most important tasks:- Creation and management of product data for our digital channels (texts and/or translations)
- Review and enrichment of A+ content and translations on Amazon.de, optimization of stores, development of banner campaigns, promotions and B+ pages
- Weekly coordination with the local Amazon vendor support team
- Implementation and management of advertising campaigns on Amazon in line with budget and targets
- Review, adjust and optimize our brand portfolio product assets on our clients' websites, images, translations, video content
- Maintaining and monitoring the e-commerce budget
- Working with sales and account managers to optimize online performance, create reports and analyses
- Translating the central and local marketing calendar online and managing our clients' commercial calendar
- Supporting the development of marketing materials and digital assets
- Supporting the Regional Marketeer in the development and implementation of social media campaigns
- Responsibility for our organic social media channels of the Jumbo Group portfolio
- Managing our social media content calendar to ensure social channels are kept up to date.
- Working closely with the design team to ensure relevant and high quality content for social media.
- Responsible for weekly/monthly social media reporting to deliver the most relevant results with clear insights, best practices and learnings
- Prepare and participate in new product launches, prepare customer presentations, develop price lists
- Coordinate and manage local product samples, customers, trade shows and showrooms
- Support the execution of consumer and trade shows and events
- 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing and/or eCommerce.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Fluent in German, English, other languages are an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and proactive approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience working with software tools such as Pacvue.
- Good knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and general social media best practices; good understanding of KPIs and trends in social media.
- Very good knowledge of Excel.
- You have a passion for e-commerce, digital marketing and consumers.
- You pay close attention to accuracy and work under time pressure
- Strong communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written
- Team player: you enjoy building close relationships, collaborating and having fun at work
- Flexibility and quick to adapt to new situations.
- Hands-on approach and down-to-earth character with the ability to handle complex situations efficiently.
