Our mission is to create the next generation of meat alternatives, starting with whole-cut meat products grown naturally from fungal mycelium. We aim to create better-than-meat products that deliver on the entire taste experience, nutrition, and price of traditional meat without compromise.
Founded in 2020, Bosque Foods is the first European fungi-based meat alternative company focusing entirely on the whole-cut meat segment. After graduating from the IndieBio’s accelerator program in New York City, we are now opening our lab in Berlin, Germany.
We are looking for a part-time lab assistant to join our team as soon as possible.
Tasks- Clean and maintain incubators, fermentation vessels, and autoclaves.
- Prepare substrates for fermentation processes.
- Assist in the harvesting and processing of fungi.
- Support small-scale lab production activities.
- Ensure all lab equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and reagents.
- Follow strict safety protocols and SOPs.
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology).
- 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Basic understanding of laboratory practices and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Physical ability to handle and move laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Self-reliant, well organized working attitude.
- Work in our lab in the center of Berlin within walking distance of many cafes, restaurants, bars, and parks.
