Aber leider führt dies zu Schmerzen und Verwirrung für Verbraucher und Einzelhändler. Du hast es bereits erlebt. Wir, paymenttools, sind ein Start-up der REWE Group und wollen mit der Verwirrung in der Welt des Zahlungsverkehrs in Europa aufräumen. Und eine Milliarde abgeschlossene Transaktionen pro Jahr beweisen, dass wir eine treibende Kraft im Zahlungsverkehr sind. Mit anderen Worten: #wesolvepayn.

Wir sind auf der Suche nach einem visionären Head of Engineering, um unsere talentierten Ingenieurteams zu leiten. Diese Rolle erfordert eine Mischung aus technischem Know-how, Führungsqualitäten und einer Leidenschaft für Innovation. Als Head of Engineering beaufsichtigst Du alle technischen Aktivitäten, stellen sicher, dass die Projektmeilensteine eingehalten werden, und treiben die strategische Ausrichtung unserer Technologieentwicklung voran. Du wirst dazu beitragen, indem Du die technische Richtung vorgibst und eine Abteilung leitest, die ein Programm im Zentrum der Unternehmensstrategie vorantreibt - in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Head of Product. Als solcher bist Du ein wesentlicher Teil unseres Management-Teams und hast die Möglichkeit, die technische Grundlage, die Kultur und die nachhaltige Exzellenz von paymenttools maßgeblich zu beeinflussen.

Deine Aufgaben
  • Du leitest und managest Ingenieurteams und bietest ihnen Mentoring, Anleitung und Unterstützung, um ihren Erfolg sicherzustellen.
  • Du wirst mit der Unternehmensführung zusammenarbeiten, um unsere technische Unternehmenskultur zu gestalten.
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Bereichen Produkt und Architektur, um die technische Umsetzung mit den geschäftlichen Anforderungen in Einklang zu bringen.
  • Mentoring, Coaching und Unterstützung der Mitarbeiter bei ihrer persönlichen und beruflichen Entwicklung.
  • Du führst Leistungsbewertungen durch und gibst konstruktives, fürsorgliches Feedback.
  • Förderung einer positiven technischen Kultur und Austausch von Best Practices.
  • Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Rekrutierungsteam zur Gewinnung und Bindung von Spitzenkräften im technischen Bereich.
  • Befürwortung und Umsetzung von Best Practices bei technischen Methoden und Technologien.
  • Vorantreiben technischer Initiativen und Verbesserung technischer Verfahren.
Deine Erfahrungen
  • Du kannst nachweislich Erfolge bei der Führung von Ingenieuren und der Übernahme von Managementverantwortung vorweisen, idealerweise in einem sich schnell verändernden, dynamischen Umfeld.
  • Du bist in der Lage, klare Entscheidungen zu treffen und dabei sowohl geschäftliche als auch technische Aspekte zu berücksichtigen.
  • Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, einschließlich der Fähigkeit, anspruchsvolle Gespräche zu führen.
  • Klare und überzeugende schriftliche und persönliche Kommunikation in Englisch ist ein muss, Deutsch ist ein Plus.
  • Deine technische Erfahrung ermöglicht es Dir, zu technischen Gesprächen und Entscheidungen beizutragen. Wir arbeiten viel mit Java, GCP, Kubernetes und Github, daher ist spezifische Erfahrung in diesen Bereichen ein Plus.
  • Schön zu haben: Du hast mit dem Aufbau skalierter Plattformen (1000e von Anfragen pro Sekunde) in der Cloud gearbeitet.
  • Gut zu wissen: Technische Erfahrung im Bereich des Zahlungsverkehrs, z. B. mit der Anbindung von Zahlungsdienstleistern, Acquirern, Clearing & Settlement.
