This position is part of the Project Management Career Path. It is meant to provide an attractive career opportunity for employees, who focus on managing projects and functional leadership of project team members.Your new responsibilities include:Manage embedded SW strategic projects with significant complexity, risk, reach and noticeable impact for parts of the company in a cross-divisional contextManage a diverse project team with members of multiple functions across Infineon and a complex project structureUnderstand system architecture for power conversion solutions, algorithms, software stack and system partitioning using industrial MCUs as controllerManage team of experts translating power conversion application requirements into requirements for the various subsystem’s componentsUnderstand application requirements for digital power systems and the associated software librariesStructure projects and ensure complianceLead others to solve complex problems; use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutionsAnticipate and pro-actively manage change while ensuring buy-in for change and deal with ambiguityLead team by empowering project managers of sub-projects to deliver on the project objectives considering cross-cultural location topics appropriatelyEstablish a communication framework and constantly ensure that all relevant information is provided in time to all levels of the project organizationGrow trusted relationships and a network with a broad base of internal and external stakeholders and actively manage their interestsLook at the bigger picture in order to identify challenges and work closely with your stakeholders to come-up with solutionsYou are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation, recognize and use different areas of expertise and skills of the team members. You strive for continuous improvement and promote an awareness for continuous quality in your area of work. Furthermore, you commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole.You are best equipped for this task if you have:A degree in Electronical Engineering, Computer Science or a related fieldA formal project management certification (IPMA Level C)At least 8 years’ practical experience inmanagement of embedded software development projects combining processors, power and signal processing on general-purpose processors or DSPsStrong experience in software development flowComprehensive overview in ModusToolboxTM and how to get started developing an asset for the ecosystemHands-on project management skillsin the SW area for power conversion applications and controllers in a product to system contextStrong familiarity with leading industry professional software development with respect to coding standards, quality levels and certificationsKnowledge of switch mode power supplies, system level circuit modelling with EDA tools is a plusGreat intercultural competencies and excellent communication and team working skillsExcellent and structured presentation and documentation skillsProven leadership skills and flexibility to deal with changes during the project: experience in leading teams in technical activities, ideally including a systematic approach for complex problem solvingExcellent English communication skillsContact: Mariia Kozachok, LinkedInDriving decarbonization and digitalization.
