About usAre you passionate about cutting-edge technology and improving healthcare? I’m currently hiring for an Application Engineer for a company leading the way in diagnostic imaging innovation.TasksLead and support new customer deploymentsConfigure and customise solutions to fit clinical workflowsTrain end-users including radiologists, PACS admins, and IT staffTroubleshoot and resolve technical application issuesCollaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, product) to drive customer successProvide post-go-live support and consult on workflow optimisationTravel to customer sites as needed (approx. 30–50%)ProfileBachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or similar2+ years of experience in a healthcare IT, applications, or imaging environmentSolid understanding of DICOM, PACS, HL7, and clinical imaging workflowsStrong troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skillsComfort working directly with both technical and clinical stakeholdersNice to have:Prior experience with enterprise imaging software or radiology toolsScripting or light coding skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Familiarity with HL7, networking, or healthcare security standardsWe offerCompetitive compensationFlexible work arrangements (remote, hybrid, or onsite)Paid parental leaveOngoing professional development opportunitiesCollaborative team environmentContactIf this sounds like something of interest, please feel free to apply below or alternatively reach out to me at rmiles@optimussearch.com
