Localization Manager

We are looking for a well organized Localisation Manager to oversee our translation projects ensuring that all content is adapted to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of our target audiences in the German French Spanish and Italian speaking regions. The original language is English.

Tasks

• Develop and implement localization workflows to ensure consistency efficiency and quality control
• Lead the planning execution and delivery of translation projects across multiple languages and platforms translating technically complex content for a B2B audience
• Collaborate acrossfunctions (i.e. with other Marketing teams PR Engineering) to ensure consistent and accurate localisation of all materials and touchpoints
• Manage translation agencies and freelance translators as well as an open source translation community including selection negotiation and quality control
• Define quality standards by establishing and organizing linguistic and cultural guidelines translation memories glossaries and style guides

Requirements

Degree in Translation Linguistics or a related field

Experience in localisation project management preferably in the software industry

Strong understanding of translation tools and technologies

Organizational leadership and communication skills

Ability to work independently and utmost reliability

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize

English German and French are essential any other language beneficial
