  • Optimization of German taxburden of LH Group
  • Self-dependent enforcementof LH Group´s positions on taxes in case of taxaudits
  • In charge for results of tax audits forthe issues direct taxation, VAT, wage taxes, insurance tax, realestate taxes for all major shareholdings in Germany of LHGroup
  • Worldwide enforcement of developedsolutions for LH Group´s measures with regard to national taxadministrations
  • Give directives to allaffiliates regarding tax-audits (code-of-conduct regardingtax-audits, general principles for digitalaudits-guideline)
  • Tax planning calculations anddetermination of tax provisions and tax contributions followingresults of tax audits of LH Group
  • Preparationof decisions on intervening on higher-ranked administrative levelin cases of conflict during an audit and preparation of analysis ofchances of success for possible legalactions
  • Development and execution of trainingand information events
  • Ensure risk managementwith regard to identified risks or existing administrativestatements following recent or pending taxaudits
Profil
  • Universitydegree [economics, legal] with tax as corearea
  • Certified Tax Advisor orsimilar
  • Deep knowledge of economic tax doctrineas well as legal methodology to interpret and analyze the taxlaw
  • Minimum of 15 years doing tax business,thereof a minimum of 10 years doing corporate taxlaw
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate tax law,well-grounded knowledge of administrative law, company law,national and international commercial law (HGB,IFRS)
  • Very good knowledge of the hierarchicalcomposition and the working procedures of taxadministrations
  • Strong proximity to thesubject
  • Strong negotiating / facilitatingskills and mediation orientation
  • Focus ondecision and implementation
  • Neutrality andobjectivity towards companies / business units in terms ofsolutions
