Thus far, envelio has relied on externallaw firms coordinated by the management team for legal support.Thanks to our significant and continued growth as a company, wehave now reached a scale at which we want to start to ramp up ourown legal in-house expertise. In the role as our General Counsel(f/m/d), you take over and shape this task moving ahead. You takeresponsibility for the coordination of all of envelio’s legaltopics and consult our senior management in all legal matters. Indirect report to the CEO, you help shape an efficient legal set-upand collaboration with external law firms and partners. A hands-onmentality and a growth mindset arekey.

• You take over and build up thein-house legal function at envelio
• You reportdirectly to the CEO and work closely together with the CEO, CTO,and the management team as an advisor for all legalmatters
• You own, maintain, and develop ourcustomer-facing contracts, especially for software licenses, SaaS,software onboarding projects, and custom developmentworks
• You consult on and support the contractnegotiations with potential customers
• Youcoordinate all of our relationships and collaboration with externallaw firms
• You coordinate data privacy processesinternally and work closely together with our external dataprotection officer
• You act as our complianceofficer overseeing all compliance-relevantmatters

• You have successfullycompleted the second state examination (or equivalent legalexamination), demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of legalprinciples and regulations
• You have at least 2years of experience as a practicing lawyer, specializing in IT andsoftware-related IP rights
• You are a strongcommunicator with exceptional written and verbal communicationskills in German and English, with the ability to convey complexlegal concepts also to non-legalstakeholders.
• You combine a hands-on andsolution-oriented mentality with a strong growth mindset evolvingthe legal function of a scaling company
• You areenthusiastic about the energy transition and scaling a softwarebusiness
