As a Middleware Engineer specializing in automotive infotainment applications, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining middleware solutions that bridge the gap between hardware and software components in our infotainment systems. Your work will ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our automotive infotainment systems, providing users with an enhanced and immersive experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop middleware solutions for automotive infotainment systems, with a focus on Android for Automotive.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture for infotainment applications.
- Implement and optimize communication protocols and interfaces between hardware and software within the infotainment system.
- Ensure real-time data processing and low-latency communication for infotainment applications.
- Develop and maintain middleware libraries and frameworks tailored for infotainment systems.
- Perform debugging, testing, and validation of middleware components in infotainment environments.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in automotive infotainment middleware and Android for Automotive.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other engineering teams working on infotainment systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in middleware development, preferably in the automotive infotainment industry.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with operating systems like QNX/Linux for embedded systems.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet
- Familiarity with infotainment technologies and user interfaces.
- Understanding of standards and regulations in the automotive industry (ASPICE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR and middleware stacks for infotainment systems.
- Knowledge with Android Automotive
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Docker
