Position Overview
As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable Java applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and advancement within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design and architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- German speaking proficiency is a must, C1 or above.
