Robotic Software Engineer

This client are at the forefront of revolutionizing intralogistics with cutting-edge robotics technology, empowering businesses worldwide to excel in their markets.
As a Robotic Software Engineer, your role is pivotal in conceptualizing, architecting, implementing, testing, and deploying robotic software applications and hardware solutions. You'll ensure the seamless delivery of operational robotic software solution, actively participating in on-site commissioning and project deployment phases.
Your responsibilities extend to crafting customized software for client projects, integrating solutions both on-site and remotely. Embracing a mechatronic approach, you'll collaborate with PLC software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to optimize existing products and develop innovative concepts. Additionally, you'll stay ahead of the curve by exploring new automation and robotics technologies, contributing to process development and enhancing development tools.
What it takes:
- Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician specializing in automation technology, or equivalent qualification
- Alternatively, a degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Preferably, hands-on experience in robot commissioning and programming, with expertise in KRL KUKA
- 3-4 years of professional experience in relevant roles
- Familiarity with image processing systems and PLC commissioning, especially Beckhoff TwinCAT3, is advantageous
- Fluent in English with good proficiency in German
- Willingness to travel internationally
