Duties and Responsibility
  • Engineering support for the production areas as a specialist responsible for mechanics
  • Technical management of the supervised production areas together with the production managers
  • Technical assurance of the required plant availability, taking process and plant safety into account
  • Ensuring the technically flawless condition of the plant with regard to the requirements of the applicable rules and regulations (AwSV, BetrSichV, MRL, etc.)
  • Plant inspections and recurring tests
  • Further development of the maintenance concept from preventive, predictive, condition/risk-oriented and failure-related maintenance 
  • Planning and control of the maintenance budget
Education and Experience
  • Successfully completed engineering studies in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a chemical company
  • Skilled worker training desirable
  • Experience in the design and maintenance of industrial or production plants
  • Good knowledge of the relevant laws, ordinances and technical regulations
  • Confident handling of MS Office programs, SAP knowledge desirable
  • Independent, goal- and solution-oriented way of working
  • High level of communication and organizational skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
