Your tasks
  • You develop concepts and designs for data solutions as well as data architectures and implement them throughout the software lifecycle
  • To ensure the smooth flow of data from various sources, you develop and maintain data pipelines (e.g. ETL)
  • In collaboration with data scientists, you design and implement data models as well as frameworks and take care of the transformation of data within the data lake and to the data warehouse 
  • You identify and resolve performance and scalability issues in our data pipelines and optimize our data infrastructure and storage systems 
  • By implementing data validation and cleansing techniques, you ensure data quality and integrity 
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and providing recommendations for improvements is also part of your job 
Your profile
  • You have successfully completed an IT- or data-oriented study program or a comparable training course 
  • You have a proven track of record with data models, data mining and data warehouse architectures techniques
  • Programming in Java or Python on a very experienced level is part of your skill set 
  • You are familiar with ETL concepts, processing of mass data, relational databases and query languages (e.g. SQL)
  • You have gained experience in the field of data analytics, big data technologies as well as cloud services (especially AWS) and update your knowledge regularly 
  • You face challenges with a result-oriented way of thinking and take responsibility for your tasks 
  • You easily communicate in English, ideally in German too
