Bioinformatician (m/f/d) The employment is within the framework of the Scientific Fixed-Term Contract Act (WissZeitVG according to Section 2 Paragraph 2) and is initially limited until the end of the project on August 31, 2027. In the consortial ENDOFERT project on endometriosis funded by the BMBF, a sub-project is dedicated to spatial transcriptomics. Technologies such as COSMX (Nanostring), Xenium (10x Genomics) or CODEX assays are used. In addition, scripts will also be developed using open source tools (QuPath, lmageJ etc.). The project analyzes the microenvironment of endometriosis, which will be compared with previous experience in the field of carcinogenesis. Integration with the Bio-lnformatics Core Unit and international network partners also enables rapid access to the topic. The instrumental equipment offers excellent starting conditions due to the acquired digital tissue microarray platform and the GPU expansion of the HPC infrastructure at the Düsseldorf site. Responsibilities: Bioinformatic processing and analysis of spatial OMICS data sets Establishment of required bioinformatic analysis software in close coordination with the core bioinformatics unit Interface management between TMA platform, CUBI, Core Unit Spatial Omics.
