Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Manage a Team of design and verification engineers. Your team develops IP’s and subsystems for automotive embedded power applications
- Lead the team and grow it further in size and competencies with respect to methodologies for design (digital, analog) and verification (functional, mixed signal)
- Be responsible for allocating resources to development projects and coordinating the team
- Be the interface to product development, application engineering and project management
- Be accountable together with the project manager & the R&D management in meeting quality, cost and deliverables for development projects
- Represent your group in cross site exchange in an international development organization

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical field
- Professional experience in the semiconductor industry in relevant R&D departments (Product Development, Verification or Chip Design)
- Several years of Experience in R&D management of small or medium size teams
- Good knowledge in your own technical area but also a strong focus on R&D management and leadership in recent years
- Excellent communication skills which enable you to master the alignment across internal and external contacts in a multicultural and divers environment
- Highly motivated with ability to prioritize and perform under pressure

The Development Center Dresden was launched in 2019 and is growing successfully. Today, more than 180 top-class experts and young talents from 27 nations are working on research and development of new products and solutions for automotive and power electronics, software, chip design and verification, characterization of complex systems as well as development of products and solutions with artificial intelligence. In the long term, the Development Centre will employ around 250 people. State-of-the-art research and characterization labs facilitate R&D activities for automotive applications, electromobility and AI chips of the next but one generation. The Development Center covers the complete development value chain from product and system definition to qualification.
