Impact: This role is pivotal in managing the strategic digital and technology roadmaps for the Germany Cluster and the Switzerland & Austria Cluster. It ensures optimal business partnering and relationship management, with a particular focus on Customer Management (Trade Marketing, B2B) and enhancing the digital and technology experience for employees.


Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

Essential:

  • A university degree with 12+ years of experience in managing complex digital technology environments, particularly in route-to-market, trade marketing & distribution, and customer management.
  • Proven experience in driving marketing transformations through IT and digital solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and operate within a complex geo/functional matrix organization.
  • Extensive experience in leading business engagement in a geo area, large end-market, or global function.
  • Broad knowledge of IT and digital domains.
  • Experience with large global organizations utilizing both in-sourced and out-sourced IT services, and a comprehensive understanding of global applications portfolio management.
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and facilitation communication skills.
  • Ability to think and act strategically and tactically.
  • Technical understanding with the ability to translate business concepts and vice versa.
  • Established credibility and trust, respected by IT and business managers at all levels.
  • Proficient in relationship, change, and conflict management; able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
  • Ability to bring together diverse teams, including business analysts, technical experts, process owners, and Global Hub/Centres of Excellence (CoE), to ensure stability and relevant evolution of systems and platforms.


Key Technical/Functional/Leadership Skills:

  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of Marketing business models and related IT and digital capabilities.
  • Advanced stakeholder and change management skills, coupled with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellence in execution and a results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge and experience in best-in-class FMCG and data-driven organizations.


Education and Certifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Practical experience with Agile, Design Thinking, and DevOps methodologies.


Preferred:

  • Certifications in product/project management or new technologies.
  • Proficiency in German.
  • ITIL v3 or higher certification.
