We're supporting one of our clients in finding a Sr. AV Field Engineer.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams.
  • Serve as the intermediary between the company and the customer.
  • Offer direct technical assistance to the customer
  • Shape the design and implementation of cutting-edge semi-autonomous driving systems driven by advanced vision technology.


Required:

  • Proficiency in understanding, operating, and troubleshooting the entire system to resolve customer issues.
  • Installation of various evaluation systems on prototype vehicles, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, network configuration, and operating systems setup.
  • Diagnosis of multidisciplinary system failures.
  • Conducting and overseeing test drives on both open roads and test tracks.
  • Involvement in office work, providing support at vehicle production lines, and integration facilities.
  • Completion of tasks such as long test drives and occasional travel to local and international projects.
  • Close collaboration with Autonomous Vehicle (AV) development, validation, and algorithm teams.
  • Testing and validating end-to-end AV functionality, delivering expert reports.


Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Exact Science, or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating system.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., support, field engineer).
  • Hands-on experience with installation tasks such as assembling, wiring, and soldering.
  • Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting computers, operating systems, and protocol-based devices.
  • Experience using testing tools like OBD2, multi-meters (e.g., Fluke), oscilloscopes, battery analyzers, and network sniffers.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software systems with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Highly motivated with strong self-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for customer-facing interactions.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English.
  • Completion of advanced driving courses for test vehicles.
  • Availability for occasional international travel to support remote projects (approximately 3-4 times per year).
