As a Production Engineer in Stuttgart your primary objective is of course to assemble processors for customers. But your work contributes to a much bigger picture of advancing quantum hardware. You'll be putting quantum technology into the hands of industry, often for the very first time.

Making history in the genesis years of commercial quantum computing.

The day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Meeting and raising high quality standards in production, assembly, characterization and commissioning of photonic processors
  • Setting up production equipment maintenance, data acquisition & analysis
  • Engaging with customers to provide great service & support

To perform in this role, we expect that:

  • You'll need a formal Degree education in relevant scientific topics such as or closely related to Applied Sciences, Photonics, Electrical Engineering etc... so that your base-line understanding of our domain is sufficient
  • Have 2 years of industry experience working in a production or engineering role so that you are already familiar with how to execute some of the the typical day-to-day tasks
  • Already been hands on with optical and electronic equipment. This could be lasers, multi-meters etc...
  • You'll have a travel tolerance that allows you to spend time on-site with some of our customers when required
  • Speak C1+ English in order to have fluid and clear communicate with the rest of the company
