Help shape the energy turnaround at Elements Green Deutschland GmbH. as our Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

  • Advising on, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of agreements across the development and transaction processes, including NDAs, LOIs, offer documents, landowner agreements, term sheets, share and business purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements and related ancillary documents;
  • Supporting the legal aspects of the due diligence process for new investment and development opportunities, and other commercial transactions including the appointment of external counsel and advisors where necessary;
  • Advising on and negotiating agreements in relation to asset/project finance, EPC, O&M, offtake agreements as well as regulatory arrangements and general commercial agreements;
  • Responding to legal and contractual questions from the Business Development, Technical, EPC and Finance teams;
  • Build internal compliance and controls for the German business;
  • Providing strategic and well-rounded advice on legal risks and dispute avoidance/resolution where necessary;
  • Collaborating with local advisors (accountants, technical experts etc.) to resolve issues and progress projects.


That's why we would like to get to know you - your profile

  • Significant experience acting as counsel for a Renewables Developer (or renewable development clients if from practice), with a preference for experience in German solar and BESS projects;
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to confidently represent the business across a host of legal scenarios;
  • A flexible attitude and ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Native German speaker with fluency in English essential;
