Optimus Search is partnering up with a company that develops broadband solutions for broadband service providers. Their aim is to deliver innovative technology solutions for high-speed internet access. Founded in 2015 as a start-up company, our client has now become a reliable and much-valued partner both for large service providers like Vodafone Germany as well as smaller operators and Internet Service Providers.
Their technical solutions focus on multi-gigabit internet access through smart and efficient embedded devices. They are looking for highly motivated candidates to grow and enhance their development team in order to realize new project ideas and improve time-to-market.
Job description: Senior software developer in Embedded Systems
- Embedded Linux software development: Kernel drivers, HW/SW codesign
- Embedded Linux distribution development: OpenWRT, U-Boot, Buildroot
- Feature development for integration of RF/network related functions
- Coding mainly in C, C++, bash, python, lua
- Incorporating team and customer feedback in the development process
List of requirements for the job:
- Must have proficiency
o Linux and Linux Networking Skills
o C/C++
o Bash / Batch scripting
o Version control based on GIT/GitLab
- Nice to have
o Container and Microservices
o JavaScript and Typescript
o Python and LUA
