For one of our partner ventures, a well-known, young and very successful fashion label, we are looking for a Fashion Designer with proven know-how in the field of wear and design.


Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our dynamic, start-up team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of current fashion trends, and the ability to create unique and marketable trendy and core essential designs. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new clothing lines and accessories, from concept to final product.


Key Responsibilities:


Research and Trend Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques
  • Analyze consumer preferences and predict future trends
  • Do store visits to stay updated on industry trends


Design Development:

  • Create original designs and develop mood boards, sketches, and illustrations
  • Select fabrics, colors, and patterns for each collection
  • Collaborate with the design team to refine ideas and concepts
  • Ensure styles that fits too a lot of body types and make the customer feel selfconfident


Prototyping and Sampling:

  • Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples
  • Work with the product development team to ensure designs are accurately translated into garments
  • Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs


Production Coordination:

  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products
  • Monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship


Collection Management:

  • Plan and develop seasonal collections in line with the brand’s identity and market demand
  • Prepare detailed technical packages for production
  • Manage the production timeline and ensure deadlines are met


Brand Representation:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software
  • Excellent understanding of garment construction, textiles, and fabric properties
  • Strong creative vision and the ability to interpret market trends
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sustainable fashion practices.
  • Knowledge of digital fashion design tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with global fashion markets and cultural influences.
