Summary. Critical HQ EMEA operational role with responsibility to prepare, process and follow up on the EMEA Purchasing orders while managing the day to day interaction with Suppliers (both internal and external)also communication with internal functions: Warehouse, Customer Service, Global Supply Chain. Also monitoring Key operational indicators, with recommendation on optimization.


Main Responsibilities/Main Tasks


Purchase Order Processing & Control:

  • to create purchase orders and to achieve traceability until receipt; Align delivery dates and update in ERP system
  • warehouse receipts; follow up on discrepancies with warehouse and supplier
  • and process invoices in ERP
  • as Contact Person on internal inquiries on deliveries

Supply & Demand Analysis & Planning

  • demand information; consolidate input from markets to create forecasts
  • KPI’s: Identify areas for optimization for key indicators
  • recommendation on improvements

Vendor Performance Monitoring

  • up on lead time performance with Suppliers;
  • product claims to supplier

System & Data Management

  • Product Master Data quality (ERP, PIM systems) on new and existing products
  • Entry and regular revision

Special Projects

  • Work with the PENTAX Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Team on Supply / Warehousing related projects


Qualifications


Education:

Degree in business administration /supply chain/finance or similar

Experience:

2 years of purchasing experience

Experience with ERP system (Navision will be an advantage)

Skills and Competencies

Excellent communication skills (German and/or English)

Team player, eager to work in a dynamic environment

A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
