Optical Engineer (m/f/d) HuD Automotive

(internal job title: Display Engineer)


Your Tasks:

  • Supporting the development of display products for OEM projects by analyzing technical requirements and proposing technical solutions
  • Conducting first analysis of technical issues
  • Coordinating several subtasks / measurements to fulfil customer requirements
  • Carrying out internal technical risk assessments
  • Documenting and using lessons learned/best practices
  • Participating pro-actively on development related activities of the product life cycle including RFQ, Quotation, Change request etc.
  • Supporting internal and external(Customer) technical review meetings and workshops
  • Measurement and rework of samples or components


Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Sciences, Chemistry or closely related field
  • 3+ year’s experiences in a similar position (display metrology, development, technical coordination etc.)
  • Experience with OLED / LCD / HUD displays
  • Experience in display metrology and analysis is a strong plus
  • Thorough understanding and experiences in imaging optical system design
  • Understanding of requirements and processes in the Automotive industry
  • Strong communication and presenting skills
  • Customer focused, proactive mindset
  • Good team player in an international environment
  • Fluent English & German language skills (spoken and written)
  • Intercultural competence and sensitivity
