TheRole:

Sauce Labs is looking foran experienced Director of Product Management to build and lead agroup of Product Managers in the expansions of our developerpersona value proposition for test. This person will bring ametric-based outcome-oriented approach to product delivery. With akeen understanding that the best products require constantiteration and adjustment, this person will be comfortableestablishing executive, customer, and organizational buy-in to theSauce Labs strategic vision for the developerpersona.

The Sauce Labsplatform creates digital confidence through testing. The customerbase is composed of the biggest business names across theEnterprise and SMB landscape as well as a ground-swell of OSS,personal projects, and startups. The ideal candidate is comfortablewith enterprise sales settings as well as Growthexperimentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Ownthe roadmap and product strategy for a high growth productarea.
  • Champion the voice of our customers inevery conversation and decision, ensuring we deliver a world-classoffering that they love and value.
  • Build,lead/coach a team of Product Managers to deliver on the strategicvision.
  • Establish and communicate OKRs thatcreate a shared sense of purpose and drive forsuccess.
  • Aggressively prioritize work to ensurethat the team and organization stayfocused.
  • Analyze and present product metricsfor health, growth, and engagement.
  • Interpretand contextualize competitive research to best position and guideSauce Labs.
  • Work closely with Product Marketingto establish messaging, positioning, and salesmaterial.
  • Model and own the commercial concernsfor the product suite including packaging, pricing, andpromotions.
  • Stay ahead of customer and marketchanges to ensure a high quality, delightfulexperience.
  • Work cross-organizationally withengineering, sales, customer success, data, finance, and others todeliver customer value.
  • Align executives,convince peers, and enable teams by removing obstacles todeliver.
  • Represent Sauce Labs publicly atevents such as industry conferences and analystbriefings.
  • Get your hands dirty andget-it-done.
  • Lead 1 or more initiatives fromproduct discovery through delivery andlaunch.
RequiredSkills:
  • 10+ years ofexperience in product management, with 5 years minimum managingother PMs in an agile, cloud, continuous deliveryenvironment.
  • 4+ years in DevOps product oranother developer-focused productoffering.
  • Working in Enterprise SaaShigh-growth products; public cloud or other platform/infrastructureproducts.
  • Hold thoughtfully strong opinionslightly.
  • Demonstrated delivery to launch cyclefor a product or portfolio ofproducts.
  • Bachelor/Master in Computer Science+MBA or equivalent experience.
  • Excellentwritten and oral communicationskills.
  • Excellent presentation skills fortechnical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strongunderstanding of lean agile practices and how to applythem.
  • Experience driving growth andestablishing product-fit from zero.
  • Thrive ondriving value in a highly competitivemarketplace.
  • Comfortable working withmulti-location and distributedworkforces.
  • Experience managing OSS packages orproducts is a plus.
  • Experience buildingcommunity and marketplaces is aplus.
  • Experience with CI/CD and test inparticular is a plus.
  • Experience in amulti-year hypergrowth (80%+) environment is a significantplus.
