European XFEL ist eine gemeinnützige internationale Forschungsorganisation. Sie erzeugt Röntgenstrahlen in einzigartiger Qualität und stellt sie Forschenden aus aller Welt für ein breites Spektrum an wissenschaftlichen Experimenten zur Verfügung. Die Arbeitsgebiete umfassen Physik, Chemie, Biologie, Medizin, Materialwissenschaften und weitere Forschungsfelder.

Für unsere Vakuum Gruppe suchen wir einen

Mechaniker oder Physiklaboranten für Vakuumtechnik (w/m/d)Die Position
  • Montage und Inbetriebnahme von Vakuumkomponenten
  • Betreuung des Vakuumlabors und des Reinraums
  • Reinigung, Qualitätssicherung und Verpackung von Komponenten unter Reinraumbedingungen
  • Mitwirkung bei der Konzeption, dem Aufbau und dem Betrieb von Versuchsaufbauten
  • Teamarbeit in einem internationalen Team von Technikern, Ingenieuren und Wissenschaftlern
  • Bereitschaft zum Erwerb des Kranführerscheins, sofern noch nicht vorhanden
  • Teilnahme an der Rufbereitschaft der Vakuumgruppe
Anforderungen
  • Ausbildung als Industriemechaniker, Physiklaborant oder gleichwertige Qualifikation
  • Erfahrung im Aufbau und Betrieb komplexer Versuchsanlagen
  • Interesse, Bereitschaft und Fähigkeit, sich in neue Fachgebiete einzuarbeiten
  • Organisationstalent und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Erfahrung mit Ultrahochvakuum (UHV)-Komponenten oder mit der Arbeit in Reinräumen wäre vorteilhaft

Die Vergütung und weitere Leistungen orientieren sich an den Tarifverträgen für den öffentlichen Dienst in Deutschland. Darüber hinaus bietet European XFEL eine beitragsfreie betriebliche Altersversorgung, Unterstützung beim Umzug sowie Subventionen für die HVV-Proficard und das Betriebsrestaurant. Die Firmensprache ist Englisch, internationale Bewerber erhalten eine Auslandszulage.
