Solutios Architect SAP - Procurement (m/f/d)

What you will do:

  • Strong knowledge in Materials Management & Purchasing with a basic understanding of SAP Ariba, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Sales & Distribution, WM/EWM, and Transportation Management
  • Design and configuration experience in MM Master Data, Business Partner, Sourcing, Procurement, Pricing, Inventory management, Physical inventory, Release Management, Version Management, Valuation and account assignment, Invoice verification, MM Fiori apps
  • Integration experience with SAP and non-SAP external systems (Supplier collaboration, Invoicing, etc.) and internal legacy systems
  • Translate Functional Specifications into Application design documents, coordinate with the ABAP team, test new functionality or enhancements, prepare test plans and scripts, perform unit and integration tests
  • Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain business models, SAP Procure to Pay, and working on Fiori UI
  • Knowledge of purchasing integration with other SAP modules
  • Participate independently in requirement gathering, document preparation, end-to-end solution design, functional spec preparation, realization, and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business SMEs, architects, developers, and vendors to enhance current systems
  • Identify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions, implement full cycle configuration, and create and update documentation
  • Develop, review, and maintain functional/application design documents with stakeholders and SI partners
  • Participate in project delivery during testing cycles and lead root cause analysis and issue correction
  • Exposure to SAP Solution Manager usage
  • Contribute to project management plans using SAP Activate methodology
  • Handle and lead the development of WRICEF objects in collaboration with ABAP


What we are looking for:

  • 12-16 years of overall SAP experience in asset-intensive and manufacturing environments, including 8+ years in SAP MM/Procurement
  • Completed 4-5 MM/Purchasing implementation projects with at least 2 end-to-end implementations
  • Good knowledge of Indirect & Direct Procurement, Inter-company purchase, stock transfer orders, and invoicing
  • Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
  • Strong understanding and experience with SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products
  • Understanding of business functionalities in the Aerospace and Defense industry
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP MM user exits, batch jobs, SAP standard reports
  • SAP MM or S/4 HANA certifications are an added advantage
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
