Job Title: SAP FI/CO Consultant

Duration:12 months option to extend

Location: Cologne, Germany



We are working with a leading provider of innovative solutions in the manufacturing industry. We are seeking a skilled SAP FI/CO Consultant .The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP FI/CO modules and a proven track record of successful implementation and support preferably within the manufacturing industry.



Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP FI/CO solutions.
  • Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules to meet business needs, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Centre Accounting (CCA), Profit Centre Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders (IO).
  • Lead SAP FI/CO implementation projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP FI/CO systems, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
  • Conduct end-user training and create documentation to support system utilization and adoption.
  • Stay abreast of SAP best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to recommend and implement continuous improvements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant, with a focus on the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; German language skills are preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • SAP certification in FI/CO is highly desirab
