TheSoftware-defined Vehicle Team designs the next generation ofonboard software infrastructure, which is one key enabler for theSoftware-defined Vehicle. Software-defined Vehicle means atransformation where the physical and digital components aredecoupled, and features and functionality are defined throughsoftware.
The team provides technology as well asmethodologies which enable and drive this transformation based onopen standards.
What awaitsyou?
- You coordinate andimplement architecture concepts for the next generation softwareplatform for advanced driving assistance systems, driving dynamicssystems and body functions and supplement them with specificrequirements of the development team.
- Youevaluate, track and contribute to open-source projects which areused in the context of the platform.
- Youcreate, verify, and coordinate risk analysis and requirementspecifications for the software architecture, as well as performrisk assessments and vulnerabilityanalyses.
- You are responsible for architecturesolutions in series development towards internal softwaredevelopment teams and suppliers.
- In addition,you define acceptance criteria for architecture solutions insoftware and vehicle integration and evaluate thesecriteria.
- You are responsible for requirementsengineering, tracing of the specification’s compliance with respectto architecture demands.
- Within an ECU project,you are responsible for the features integrated into variousoperating systems such as QNX, Linux, and AUTOSAR and representthem to the managers of the E/E and hardware/software systemarchitecture and in relevant committees.
- Thearchitecture development takes place in close coordination with theaffected development teams and the E/E architectureoffices.
What should youbring along?
- Universitydegree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparablequalification.
- In-depth professional experiencein the field of embedded ECUs system architecture with power andautomotive controllers as well as in modern ARM-based SoCarchitectures.
- Experience in the development ofsafety or cybersecurity relevant systems according to ISO26262 orISO/SAE21434.
- Experience in embedded softwaredevelopment as well as in the field of hardware and softwarearchitecture of Software systems in serial use under QNX, Linux andAndroid.
- Understanding of computing, onboardsoftware, and hardware infrastructure with technical knowledge tobe credible with customers andengineers.
- Business-fluent German andEnglish.
