Compliance Lawyer

In this role, you will take responsibility for regulatory compliance in a variety of areas, including data privacy, money laundering, supply chain, and human rights matters.

This role requires candidates to have excellent communication skills in both English and German for legal advisory across the organisation, and will be based in the Nuremberg area (hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Global Head of Compliance on the company’s adherence to laws and internal policies, to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
• Monitor any changes to national and international laws which impact the company, such as anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), anti-money laundering (AML), and human rights law for employees.
• Establish and oversee compliance to internal policies and procedures.
• Conduct internal investigations
• Draft and analyse legal agreements and contracts

Your Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in legal compliance
• Law degree, as well as a deep understanding of industry laws and regulations
• Full professional fluency in English and German
