Job Description:

Our client is a leading turn-key supplier in the fiber network rollout for large infrastructure companies. They are seeking a German speaking, dynamic and experienced Project Coordinator (Site Manager) to join their team in the Frankfurt area The Project Coordinator (Site Manager) will play a crucial role in coordinating the rollout of fiber network projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves a mix of office-based work and on-site supervision. Additionally, the Project Coordinator (Site Manager) will receive training and have the opportunity to progress their career into project management.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Coordination:

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of the fiber network rollout, from initial planning and design to final installation and deployment.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and report any potential issues to the PM. The PM has the overall responsibility, and the Project Coordinator will report to that person


Site Supervision:

  • Oversee on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Address and resolve any on-site issues or challenges promptly.


Team Management:

  • Manage and coordinate the efforts of on-site personnel, including technicians, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to ensure efficient and effective work processes.


Scheduling and Budgeting:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and clients.


Health and Safety:

  • Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety briefings and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as Project Coordinator, Site Manager, Project Manager or similar role for FTTX projects in Germany
  • Strong understanding of fiber network infrastructure and rollout processes.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • Fluent in German and English.
