About therole

In this role, you willleverage our expertise and reputation to expand our reach in theglobal automotive sector. You will advise and lead clientengagements, driving company sales activities focusing onautomotive-related digital and data transformation projects. Yourdays will be dynamic, consisting of business development andproactive sales work for existing and new automotive clients.You'll oversee complex projects that address the unique challengesof the automotive industry, from connected vehicle platforms tosmart manufacturing implementations and new mobilitysolutions.

It is crucial to take holisticresponsibility for the health and well-being of our automotiveclients. You'll need to understand their evolving needs in arapidly changing mobility landscape, helping them navigate thechallenges of electrification, autonomous driving, connectivity,and shared mobility services. Your role will be pivotal inestablishing Futurice as a go-to partner for digital transformationin the international automotive market.

As a keyteam member, we expect you to understand the automotive sector'sdigital landscape and what it takes to build transformativesolutions for demanding automotive clients. Experience in leadingcomplex automotive-related projects is essential, either as aproject lead or in a strategic advisorycapacity.

Your location can be anywhere inGermany and you can work remote-first basis, meaning you can workfrom the comfort of your own home, occasionally visit the office,and travel on-site to client locations as needed. While we are openfor candidates based in the UK, it is important that they possessfluent German language skills and have a strong network in theGerman auto sector.

Skills &Requirements

We are looking for aPrincipal Strategy Consultant with extensive experience in digitaltransformation within the automotive sector to join our globalgrowth team.

Here are some things we'd expect ofa strong candidate:

• 10+ years ofexperience in advising and leading client engagements in theautomotive sector, with a focus on digitaltransformation
• Proven track record in businessdevelopment and driving sales activities for automotive-relatedconsulting and digital transformationservices
• Deep domain knowledge of theautomotive industry, including trends in electric vehicles,autonomous driving, connected cars, and mobilityservices
• Experience in developing andimplementing digital strategies for various types of automotivecompanies, including OEMs, suppliers, and new mobilityplayers
• Strong understanding of how digitaltechnologies can address key challenges in the automotivesector
• Working knowledge of data analytics, AI,and Generative AI applications in the automotiveindustry
• Demonstrated ability to build andmaintain relationships with C-level executives in the automotiveindustry
• Experience in running and coachingmultidisciplinary teams on complex automotiveprojects
• Fluent in German andEnglish
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 conceptsand their application in automotivemanufacturing
• Knowledge of regulatorylandscapes affecting the automotive industry, particularlyregarding emissions, safety, and dataprivacy
• Experience with digital twintechnology, IoT, and smart manufacturing in the context ofautomotiveproduction

As a Principal Strategy Consultant,you'll be a key player in this team, working alongside otherConsultants, global salespeople, board-level industry advisors, anddedicated marketing professionals.

Joining atthis formative stage offers a unique opportunity to shape thedirection and capabilities of this new global function. You'llcontribute your expertise in the automotive sector and insightsinto building effective go-to-market strategies for multinationalclients.
