Sales Engineer - Energy Storage Solutions - Frankfurt
I'm partnering with a business who are a global player in the production of lithium-ion systems. The HQ is based in Germany, but also have production facilities in China, Poland and the USA, whilst having further offices in Japan and France.
My client has over 20 years of experience in this industry, and are at the forefront of green innovation, providing cutting-edge energy storage solutions that power a sustainable future.
Their commitment to excellence and passion for renewable energy is what drives them to lead the way in energy storage efficiency and reliability. As they expand our presence in Germany and beyond, we are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including technical specifications, to effectively present and advocate for our battery systems.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with current clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to tailor our energy storage solutions to meet unique client needs.
- Navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate contracts with a mix of technical acumen and commercial savvy.
- Provide technical consultations and presentations to clients in Germany and occasionally throughout Europe.
- Gather market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activity, and potential customer needs.
- Represent EAS-Batteries at trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote our brand and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical sales within the renewable energy sector, ideally in energy storage or battery technologies.
- Fluent in German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and economic decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel as needed within Germany and potentially other parts of Europe.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with an ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a varied audience.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
