Quality Head


We're looking for a skilled professional to lead quality efforts as the Head of Quality. In this role, you'll guide the creation, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our Quality Management System and Quality teams.


You'll be responsible for ensuring operations adhere to regulations and for preparing for regulatory inspections. Your work will involve offering advice and training on quality standards and managing external quality vendors.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain regulatory knowledge and offer quality assurance advice to internal and external partners.
  • Prepare for regulatory inspections and maintain inspection readiness.
  • Oversee vendor selection, qualification, and management for clinical trials and other GxP activities.
  • Provide GCP advice and audit clinical studies for compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Assess and mitigate compliance risks related to GMP and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and improve our Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Create and manage audit plans for CROs, CDMOs, and other GxP vendors.
  • Manage external QA vendors such as auditors and consultants.
  • Identify and manage training needs related to quality standards.


Qualifications

  • Experience managing quality systems in small to mid-sized companies.
  • Knowledge of international regulatory standards is preferred.
  • Strong understanding and application of GxP principles and standards.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance roles, ideally in both biotech/pharma and CMO/CRO settings.
