1. Description of Project/Procedure Context
The Business Analyst - Junior role involves working within the Customer Experience (CX) Unit at DB Systel, focusing on consulting and development services. The project supports DB partners, such as the Traveler Information (SR) unit, in strategically developing their digital products, enhancing the overall travel experience by balancing customer needs with business requirements. The role includes designing, developing, and operating holistic solutions for travelers in collaboration with DB partners.
Duration and Total Scope
The service provider is expected to perform the following tasks:
- Analyze and identify business processes to detect weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and present solutions that meet business requirements and are effective and efficient.
- Collaborate with business units to identify and implement business requirements.
- Validate solutions to ensure they meet the client’s business requirements.
- Prepare training material in cooperation with the relevant business units to ensure new solutions can be effectively utilized by the client’s personnel.

Mandatory Technical Requirements
- Requirements Analysis and Management:
- 2 years of experience in requirements elicitation techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and observations.
- Complex IT Applications Development:
- 2 years of experience in developing complex IT applications, both according to the V-model and in an agile environment.
- Regulatory Projects:
- 2 years of experience in regulatory projects.
- GDPR Compliance:
- 2 years of experience with data collection, processing, and presentation in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) guidelines.
- Process Consulting:
- 2 years of experience in organizational change management, process changes (moderation, mediation, and coaching), and the application and training of process methods and tools.
- Tools:
- 2 years of experience in project and issue tracking tools such as Jira Software, Confluence, and Git.
Target Technical Requirements
- Stakeholder Management:
- 2 years of experience in communication skills within stakeholder management and coordinating interface partners.
- Travel Information Systems:
- 1 year of experience in applications related to information systems for travelers.
- Agile Methods:
- Experience in working within agile environments.
- Language Skills:
